Viva Vida Art Gallery

Art is an expression, communication, exploration. It is a plunge into creativity. It can please us or upset us. Art educates us and challenges us. It can reflect or influence our reality. Nedia El Khouri is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University) as well as has received her Master’s of Art in Art Education with a focus on leadership and advocacy from Boston University. She has owned and operated Viva Vida Art Gallery since 2009. She has curated a number of contemporary art exhibitions and is the creative force behind Viva Vida’s many educational programs.

Combining a love of the arts and community has been a dream come true. Drawing on her Brazilian roots, Nedia El Khouri named her Gallery and Art Centre Viva Vida, which means “to celebrate or live life”, and that is exactly what she has been doing since 2009.
